Chapter 11 questions
1. What is the role of the setting in this chapter?
They leave from the town and they approach the foothills of the Lonely Mountains and they saw a lot of forest.
How do various members of the company react to the closed door?
When they close the door, they are afraid and scared because they were almost near the dragon.
3. Give some examples of advice the dwarves have not taken so far in the book?
They never stop talking and they rarely work together.
4.Find an example of foreshadowing in the book.

5. Describe the relationship between the dwarves and the hobbit in this chapter.
Bilbo and the dwarves were not very happy because they were hungry and tired but by the end of the chapter they were nice to each other.
6. How do you make of the thrush?
The thrush is the magical bird that Elrond told the company about.
7. How does the description of what happens when the door opens affect you?
I think they're going to see the dragon and I think when they open the door the dragon is going to attack them.
