CHAPTER 10
1 the luck they have is that thorin is the son of the dwarve king and the people of lake town, respect him and so they give him and his party a special treatment.
2 the realease of the dwarves was very painful. the dwarves were bruised and groaning.
3 the guards at first refused to open the door until they found out that thorin was the son of the dwarve king.
4 the master of the lake is the king of the town and he is big and royal.
5 the towns people were very excited and cheered for the dwarves and the hobbit.
6 the elvenking was wrong about the dwarves because he thought that the dwarves disturbed his people, when actually they just needed some food to survive.
7 the meaning of the chapter was thorin coming back to the water town and everyone was happy he returned.
CHAPTER 11
1. The settings was a big roll in the plot because it made it exciting and mystical
2. The party is very disappointed and try to smash it open instead of remembering the riddle.
3.They have not tooken the advice of the riddle which told them how to open the door.
4. an example fo foreshadowing in this chapter is this, "they knew that they were drawing near to the end of their journey and that it might be a very horrible end." We make of that, that they are very close to the dragon and the treasure and that it will be very dangerous.
5. The relationship between the dwarves and the hobbit is that the dwarves are trying to break the door and bilbo thinks of the riddle that says how to open the door.
6. The thrush is a bird that Elrond talked about and that reminded Bilbo of the riddle to open the door.
7. The door opening gives a sense of panic and excitment to the reader.
