1.how does bilbo react tot he loss of the company? how does the company react to the loss of bilbo?what conclusions can you draw?
bilbo reacts going a little crazy the company reacts by being sort of mad at gandalf becayse he didnt choose someone with more wits the conclusin is that i can come up with is that they will end up finding eachother in an argumant.
2.compare and contrast bilbos story of what happened to him with what the narrator said happened to him how do you account for the differences what would you have done if u were bilbo?
well when i compare and contrast between the narrators story and bilbos sotory i get that they are very different bilbo said that he was brave and ran from gollum and he leaves out the part where gollum has the ring even theough he didnt. if i were bilbo i would told the entire story tot he company because it would make it much easier so i wouldnt have a quailty conscience from hiding the fact that i had the ring if i said i didnt.
3.how has bilbo changed from chapter1?
bilbo hsd changed is that he is more brave now and he seems to like the company a lot more now that he actually knows them. he also changed by knowing how to steal so he can live up to his label of being a great thief
4.riddle competitions have been used since primitive times to decide the fate of someone or something.how is the tradition reflected in the companys reaction to bilbos story?
it is reflected by how they see what riddles bilbo has used to stump the gollum their reaction was a suprise to me because they seemes to believe bilbo even though he he had lied.

the function in this chapter serve sort of a hiding place for bilbo and the company
6.one of the techinques tolkien uses to surrport the conciet that the narrator is relating true story is to male connections between the origins of real-world language and the imaginary world of the story in chapter 7 in chapter 1 (page17) he has the narrtor explain origins of the game of golf. how does he use this techique in chapter 6?
he uses the techinque to talk about how gollum says how he rides his hoses or something
